Overview

The 'Kwadwo Sheldon' brand is a household name in the digital creation space in Ghana, rising to become one of the most influential media voices over the last few years. We've seen exponential growth and believe it can only get better form here. Because of this reason, we thought it essential to build a solid identity that allows us to properly own the space as an entity and make a pivot away from the main personality whose face has become an identity for the brand.

Shots

  • As a designer, this is one of the fun projects where i had the chance to explore and experiment with lots of 'stupid' ideas that turned out creative.

  • The storytelling elements had to be strong enough to extend over a wide range of brand touchpoints and extensions, creating a system that can grow and scale over the next couple of years.

  • This helped birth a consistent system that is fluid, fun, and exciting to play with in all aspects.

  • It is an identity system pregnant with multiple identities, ready to give birth anytime it is required to do so. This was an interesting creative challenge to tackle.

The Brand

In many ways, the identity mimics the experience of the brand in real life. It's loud, colorful, fun & bold nature is reminiscent of how people have experienced KSS over the years since its inception. The main idea was to use that as a foundation on which everything else was built. It screams for attention, but in a creative, not-so-annoying manner.

The visual Identity

Impact

As KSS lives to create content the people love, we are creating an identity the people will fall in love with also. Inspiring the industry to do better, and to raise the bar when it comes to content creation in the country. We can't wait to see how big KSS Grows.
